- Dr. Kevin O'Gorman, Chief Academic Officer, recognized several District's Beta Clubs for their achievements during the recent South Carolina Beta Club Convention. Berkeley High School received 1st place in Group Talent, 2nd place in Trading Pin and Campaign Skit, and 3rd place in Show Choir. Four students won 1st place in individual categories and one received a 2nd place finish. Goose Creek High School received 2nd place in Group Talent and had a student finish 1st place in English Division 2, four students receive 2nd place awards in individual categories, and two students received a 3rd place individual finish. Stratford High School received 1st place in Fresh Look at Beta and was awarded the Gold Key Award. Two students won 1st place in individual categories and three students received individual 2nd place awards.Recorded
- Deon Jackson, Interim Superintendent, presented a Powerpoint presentation on the status of the District's school improvement funds. Discussion was held concerning the information presented. Francenia Heizer, the District's bond counsel with McNair Law Firm, spoke about the possibility of the District's credit rating change.Recorded
