• Recommendation for Name Change of Sedgefield Intermediate School. Mr. Jackson presented information regarding administration's suggestion for a name change at Sedgefield Intermediate School due to a grade span change from grades 3 through 5 to PK-5, to take effect in the Fall of 2018.  He noted it was a unique opportunity to celebrate a new beginning for the school and commemorate the transition by rebranding the school. After learning more about the history of Goose Creek and consulting with stakeholders, Mount Holly Elementary was selected based on its historical significance to the area.  Mr. Jackson assured the committee members that guidelines set forth in Board policy FDC had been followed.Recordedmoved by Frank Wright, seconded by Mac McQuillin
