- Auditors Tim Grow and Ed Royall from Elliott Davis shared a Powerpoint presentation on the District's finances for the 2016-2017 school year. They listed four material weaknesses: misappropriation of assets, recording bond transactions, taxable bond issuance, and utilization of restricted funds. Three significant deficiencies were noted: health insurance payments, recording payroll related accruals, and payroll system access. Discussion was held on information within the presentation and the findings noted.Recorded
- Marcie Abrahamson, Director of Procurement, announced that Gov McMaster designated March 2018 as Purchasing Month for the State of South Carolina. She recognized members of the District's purchasing department.Recorded
- Ms. Smith presented RFP-528-(17-18) for approval. The committee voted unanimously to approve RFP #528-(17-18) to expand wireless capabilities at 6 locations to DISYS Solutions, Incorporated in the amount of $316,552.54 contingent upon receiving approval for E-Rate funding for the 2018-2019 school year.Recorded
