- Chair Wofford called the meeting to order, a quorum was declared and the media had been notified.Recorded
- Chair Wofford led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Board observed a moment of silence.Recorded
- Brian Roney, District Athletic Officer, recognized the student athletes that participated in the North/South All-Star Classic: Danny Faulk - Goose Creek High School; Hayden Prince - Stratford High School; and Loye Burkehead - Cane Bay High School (unable to attend). He recognized the following additional students, who also won the State Wrestling Championship for their weight class: Jacob D'Ambrosia - Cane Bay High School; and Cooper Youngblood - Timberland High School. Coach Tim Wash, Wrestling Coach at Cane Bay High School, was named Outstanding Coach of the Year.Recorded
