- Cane Bay High Law Enforcement Academy. Dr. Kim McLaren introduced Principal Tim McDowell from Cane Bay High School. Mr. McDowell recognized Assistant Principal Taylor Bradley and Instructor Peter Wright. They presented a Powerpoint presentation on Cane Bay High School's Law Enforcement Academy. There are 500 students enrolled in the course per year. Information was provided on the Ti Training Corp: Use of Force Simulator including concerns, benefits, and fiscal questions associated with the simulator. Discussion was held.Recorded
- MUSC Telehealth Services Update. Deon Jackson, Senior Associate Superintendent of Operations and Administration, introduced Kelli Garber from The Center for Telehealth with the Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Garber showed a short video on MUSC Telehealth Services. She also shared a Powerpoint presentation explaining school-based telehealth, the benefits of using the program, and how the program works. School-based Telehealth services will be available at the following school in the fall: St Stephen Elementary, St Stephen Middle, and J. K. Gourdin Elementary. Discussion was held on the information presented.Recorded
