• Committee Chair Kirstin Tanner called the meeting to order, declared a quorum was present, and the media had been notified.Recordedmoved by Sally Wofford, seconded by Kelly Marone
• Dr. Andrea Sturkey, Chief Human Resources Officer recognized Dr. Natasha Wright, Director of Human Resources to present the CarolinaCAP update to the Board.  Dr. Wright spoke about the Carolina Collaborative for Alternative Preparation being a non-degree program leading to full licensure for candidates collaborating with the University of South Carolina, and the Center for Teaching Quality.  Dr. Wright announced that six instructional assistants transitioned to teachers in January 2022 and all were retained for the 22-23 school year.  Dr. Wright said the program has grown from the original six candidates to fourteen and gained two additional school-level coaches.Recordedmoved by Sally Wofford, seconded by Kirstin Tanner
