- Committee Chair Michael Ramsey called the meeting to order, declared a quorum was present, and the media had been notified.Recorded
- David Cheatwood with First Tryon presented the Board with an overview of the Capital Project needs and funding capacity. Mr. Cheatwood also gave an initial funding scenario and spoke about the General Obligation Bonds.Recorded
- Marcie Abrahamson, CFO, presented the ESSER III amendment #5 explaining the reasoning BCSD would like to move funds around to different accounts in order to pay a finder's fee to hire Special Education teachers for the 24-25 school year. Mrs. Abrahamson also share this amendment would allow for incentive checks to be issued to Special Education teachers and assistants in August. The District would also like to purchase translation software to be able to communicate with non English speaking students and families.Recorded
