- Chair Wofford called the meeting to order, declared a quorum was present, and the media had been notified.Recorded
- Marcie Abrahamson, Chief Financial Officer, presented a PowerPoint to the Board for the first 2025-2026 Budget Workshop. Mrs. Abrahamson shared the revenue projections for 25-26 in comparision to the 24-25 approved and amended budget. Mrs. Abrahamson explained the state mandates, state aid to classroom formula, the formula update for BCSD, and teachers pay and salary schedule. Mrs. Abrahamson shared the request for new positions for Special Education and the new shools. Mrs. Abrahamson also shared the next steps for the 25-26 budget process explaining there will be a second workshop on May 19, 2025. The first reading is expected to be June 2, 2025, with a public hearing and second reading June 16, 2025. Discussion was held.Recorded
