- Chair Sally Wofford called the workshop to order, declared a quorum was present, and the media had been notified.Recorded
- CFO, Marcie Abrahamson, presented a PowerPoint to the Board for the second budget workshop regarding the 2025-2026 Budget. Mrs. Abrahamson reviewed the millage history and gave a recap on the state mandates and the formula for state aid to classrooms. Mrs. Abrahamson talked about considerations to the budget to include an increase to teacher salaries, 2% cost of living for non-teaching positions, additions to special education and opening two new schools. Mrs. Abrahamson also shared additional considerations to include overall revenue is estimated to increase, no plan to increase millage, PEBA increase to health insurance, paid parental leave, and increase to the school security and safety allocation. Mrs. Abrahamson shared the (local, state, federal, other) revenue projections for 25-26 and projected expenses to show a balanced budget.Recorded
